a mixed experience near the harbour

the location was central and a short walk from the harbour..
the minibar's free soft drinks were a nice touch, but there were issues. the air conditioning made an unbearable noise, so i had to turn it off. it got too hot to sleep. when i mentioned it the next morning, the staff only said they were sorry.

The location is very central. The historical building has a fascinating interior. The staff displayed friendliness and attentiveness. The roof terrace offered a peaceful spot, amidst the vibrant city. The room was full of character (I especially liked the decorations).
I noticed the absence of soundproofing in the room. Street noise continued late into the night. This impacted the overall quietness within the room.

I found the hotel location quite advantageous. Reception stayed open all day and night and this helped me. The bed had great comfort. All beverages came without extra charge and I saw that as a nice gift.
The space for wardrobe was very reduced, and I needed more hangers.

This place is near the center. I liked proximity to many different sites from here and I could walk to restaurants and shops in just a short while from this hotel.

the reception area had such a beautiful design. i was impressed by the staircase, i think it was built into the rock, it looked like that. the room, a superior double room, was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. also, i must mention the terrace on the roof, it had many sofas and sunbeds.
i do think the hotel looks a bit tired. the toilet lid in the bathroom was cheap plastic. i could also smell damp in the bathroom, it wasnt a good smell. the walls looks like needs paint too, a bit worn.
